Nafeesah is the great-granddaughter of Grand Midwife Daisy Roberts from the State of Georgia. Nafeesah is the owner of Daughters of Daisy Marie Doula Services and the founder of The Mbegu Birthing Project a non-profit organization founded in Mobile, AL where she is continuing her family legacy.
She is the mother of 6 children and grandmother of 2. Nafeesah has over 12 years of professional doula experience and 30 years of personal experience with birth and postpartum. She has been privileged with the opportunity to train under great midwives and work as a midwife assistant, attaining certification through MNB (Mother Nature's Belly LLC), and DONA(Doulas of North America) along with training in herbal medicine for pregnancy and postpartum support. Nafeesah attained her certification in Natural Health and Healing in 2005 and received training in Assistant Nursing in 2009 at Durham Technical Institute, Durham NC. Nafeesah is currently majoring in Social Work to become a Maternal Mental Health Worker/ Therapist. She has been blessed and honored by the creator's mercy to witness and assist mothers and families through pregnancy, labor, and postpartum held in the Southern traditional methods passed down from generation to generation. With a concentration on spirituality, traditional healing methods, herbalism, and nutrition, She provides a holistic approach to birthing and postpartum care.

Brianna is a Doula and Certified Lactation Counselor. Brianna attained her doula certification through Sister Midwife Productions and has been trained in Herbal Remedies for pregnancy and postpartum. Brianna is currently working towards her Massage Therapy Certification and is the mother of 5 children.
